Eddy driven fast valve

The eddy driven valve (EDV) is a high-speed, high-pressure gas valve built on an eddy-current electromagnetic actuator. It delivers millisecond-scale opening, stable gas output, and durable operation for fusion and advanced laboratory systems.

  • 1–2 ms opening time

  • 1–20 bar·l gas output

  • up to 150 bar operating pressure

Fast shutter

The fast shutter is an ultra-fast, eddy-current-driven actuator designed for environments where milliseconds matter. Developed originally for the ITER Disruption Mitigation System, it delivers unmatched speed and reliability in high-radiation, high-magnetic-field environments.

  • Closing 40 mm aperture in just 2 milliseconds

  • Ultra-high vacuum compatible

  • Radiation-tolerant

High voltage control

High voltage electronics for ultra-fast eddy current driven systems

  • Modular HV system

  • Fully configurable

  • NI-based control
